Appreciated its pleasant and hospitable staff.
We had a family room and it included a fridge, an electric kettle, and central heating. The bathroom was nice, it was nice to have a bathtub. Location: the hotel was just off homemade jams, the centre of town and France...

Loved the free breakfast, especially eating it on the terrace overlooking the garden. Also enjoyed taking a dip in the outdoor pool. So refreshing!
Oh, I just adored having to negotiate a steep set of stairs with my suitcase. Such a thrilling workout!

During my recent business trip, I had the opportunity to stay at Les Maitres Sonneurs Bed & Breakfast in Huriel. As this hotel was chosen by my director, I didn't have any expectations beforehand, but I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience I had. The staff at Les Maitres Sonneurs made sure that I felt right at home, providing impeccable service throughout my stay. The peaceful ambiance of this charming countryside retreat truly allowed me to unwind and relax after a long day of meetings.
Although there is a small kitchenette in the apartment, it would have been a nice extra if instant coffee, tea, milk, and perhaps a few biscuits were available.

It was a fantastic way to immerse myself in French culture and language. the evening meal, prepared by the owner Serge, was a delightful experience. Sitting with fellow guests, mostly French, enjoying fresh organic food and unlimited wine and sangria was a treat. the farm setting with donkeys and other animals added to the rustic charm. Our family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, while the bathroom was huge. I loved the authentic French vibe and would definitely stay here again. It was excellent value for our group of six.

This hotel was a hidden gem in the French countryside. The attention to detail was incredible - from the beautifully decorated rooms to the homemade jams at breakfast. The converted loft room we stayed in was charming and had all the basic amenities we needed. The owner, Serge, was a fantastic host and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His art and the property itself were so interesting, we wished we could have stayed longer.
All was perfect, nothing to improve.

The rustic chalet-style apartment was perfect for us, providing a unique and authentic French atmosphere. The spacious family room was clean and comfortable, and the huge bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The children were delighted to explore the small organic farm, meeting the friendly donkeys and other animals. We truly felt immersed in French culture and language, making our stopover a memorable and enriching experience.
For dads, it would be great to have some outdoor play areas or activities specifically catered towards children.

The breakfasts at this hotel were excellent, with a range of homemade jams and fresh milk. the rooms were quirky and interesting, and the host was friendly and accommodating. The countryside location provided a peaceful and authentic French experience.
The location of the hotel was quite remote, and it can be challenging to find the exact property. The colored bed linen in the rooms may not be to everyone's taste.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed the rustic setting. There were animals and the owner tried hard to entertain the children there. we appreciated the continental breakfast that was included in the price.
The hotel needs better heating systems. We froze throughout our Christmas trip.
